Major update: from collectors to amplifiers

Happy Wednesday afternoon, Miners!
I have to start this post with a huge thank you. Over the past couple of weeks, I've been reading every comment, message, and review you've sent. Your feedback has been incredibly insightful, and it’s led me to do some serious rethinking about the core gameplay loop. You helped me realize that some systems, while interesting on paper, were creating more tedious work than strategic fun.
As a result, I’ve made the bold decision to pivot. I'm excited to share the next major update, which is based directly on your feedback and streamlines the game in a big way.
Less Clicks, More Strategy: Direct Resource Collection
Let's get straight to the biggest change. Many of you pointed out that as your empire grew, you were spending more time clicking on collectors than making strategic decisions. You were right.
Effective immediately in the next update, that entire step is being removed. All resources generated by your autominers will now go directly into your balance. No more manual collection. No more harvesting chains. Your income is now truly automatic, freeing you up to focus on the big picture: optimal placement and expansion.
A New Foundation: Removing Collectors and Generators
With resources being collected automatically, the original purpose of Collectors is now obsolete. And while Generators provided a boost, I felt they were competing with a more interesting system I had in mind. Therefore, to make way for a more focused and engaging mechanic, Collectors and Power Generators have been removed from the game.
I know this is a huge change, but it paves the way for a much more dynamic strategic layer.
Introducing Amplifiers: The Amplify & Commit System
Replacing the old structures is a brand new system: Amplifiers.
Amplifiers are special structures with unique, Tetris-like shapes. Instead of generating power or collecting resources, you place them directly on top of your existing autominers. Any miner covered by an Amplifier gets a massive 5× productivity boost.
But here's the catch—the strategic heart of this new system. Once you place an Amplifier, the miners underneath it are locked in permanently. You cannot move the Amplifier, nor can you access or change the miners it's covering.
This creates a fascinating new dilemma. Do you amplify your early-game miners for a quick and powerful head start? Or do you save your limited Amplifier space for the high-tier miners you'll unlock later, maximizing your long-term potential? Every Amplifier placement is now a high-stakes, meaningful commitment.
These changes are a direct result of our conversations. We've streamlined the economy to reduce grind and introduced a deeper, more decisive strategic puzzle with the Amplifier system. The core mission is the same, but the execution is sharper and more focused, all thanks to you.
This is a massive shift, and I am incredibly excited to hear your thoughts on this new direction.
Happy Mining!
